Did you ever think you were enjoying a warm bath, only to be surprised that the heat, ever so slowly increasing around you, now has you trapped? One day, you wake up and realize that your child, having passed the Terrible Twos, Tyrannical Threes, Fearsome Fours, and Frightening Fives, might have more challenges than just “going through a phase”?

Such was our slow realization as we surprisingly found ourselves in full crisis mode. And then, a later realization, that perhaps we needed to change, too.
